I have to agree with Q ... only a slight rearward CoG and wings take on a completely alien character !!

Its why I use the hanging method to balance them ... a U shaped wire glued into the CoG point dead centre of span ... hang the wing and adjust items till it balances in all axis.

Then add slight UP on the elevons !!

Never found test glide to be much use with a wing ... think its because which way you launch makes a huge difference that can confuse the results.
