Seperating the fuselage halves can destroy the plane, instead, Cut the cowl (exacto knife)across the bottom of windshield down to each side to glued seam. Have to cut glued seam to remove cowl. Remove gently. Motor can be cut or pryed out away from soft factory glue. Cut leads. Solder new leads,, can use latex or right stuff to mount new motor. Place cowl back on and maybe use scotch tape to secure. If you have to replace again, you have easy access.I have replaced motor 7 times.Its never an easy task. I Upgraded to a larger motor, more power but less flight time, Was 17 minutes with stock motor and now 9-1/2 minutes with Lectron pro 3.7v-180mah 45c. Can still get very slow flight with great control.
