The big difference coming from a three channel to a four channel is in roll control. With three on the SC you hold the stick to right or left throughout the turn and release it to level out. With four channels if you hold input on the aileron stick the plane will continue to roll as long as you hold the stick and usually that means rolling into the ground for beginners. You have to retrain your brain to use the aileron stick much like you would use elevator or rudder. Momentary input and release to hold attitude. So in a turn you would apply ailerons briefly to attain the desired bank angle and then release the stick to maintain that bank. You then have to apply opposite stick to level the plane and release once level. The three channel high wing will self level on releasing the stick.
