Sorry to have confused you with my typo. I have 3 3cell 5500 mAh 30C batteries in series. If my calc is correct, I should be good for 165 amps, of which I'm not even close.

Denny,

With the 20x10 pop and the 160 motor, I was pulling 57 amps at about 33.3 volts full throttle on the bench.

Actually my batteries are 3 5500 3 cell in series.

follow up

Thanks to all who responded

I came to the conclusion that I needed a bigger motor. I think I was getting the 110 hot and the heat was running the amps up. I put a 160 in it and it runs great....
