I'd say go for a stinger EDF jet from Hobbyking as they are very stable and will fly slow if need be too,but like rcers said you might want to think about going to a larger faster flying prop plane...

I've never had a problem with any of my Spektrum radios (touch wood) and i use a good few orange rx's from HK too,none of them have let me down. :D
