In fact, I flew it, crashed it, removed the covering, fixed it, and re-covered it already.

if you have the time and purchase power, i'd go to a brushless motor. We can probably find a tunergy inrunner that will plug and play with the stock 400 and give you boatloads of power.

I think, for the stringers, if you have some thin CA and an applicator tip, you could poke a hole at the break and get them with CA. It really looks like it's built light.
