For me, there is no better choice than a Taranis radio. Part of that is because I fly FrSky with telemetry. But, for the cost, you get a tremendous amount for your buck with the programming...

Force - Mass x Acceleration, so more thrust = more speed. EDFs are not efficient at low rpms. Its not like you can drop down to a lower KV to get higher torque and therefore a bigger prop.
