Dr. Kiwi, thanks for the reply. Yes the motor turns freely by hand. If it is a ESC timing issue, can I resolve it myself or not?

Just got a T-28 and it is a great flyer. However, initially, when testing the motor on the ground, it would sputter, and barely turn the prop shaft for a few seconds then would engage and work...
