Does anyone know the 'assumed' hub width that is used by APC to determine the size of their folding props?

Alternatively, could someone please measure the length of a 10" APC prop (from...

Throttle response = Max
Timing = 10 degrees

I also...

Cogging problem

I want to fit a lower Kv motor to my EF Yak54 in order to prop up without over-amping the ESC.
I currently run an Axi 2820-10 1200kv.

I bought a Waypoint 3020-14 944kv (same as the Scorpion...

So, in essence....

My WOT (on the ground) @ 48 amps is below my 60 amp 'burst' rating.

I am only running 3 cell lipo's.

The thing that confuses me (and probably others?) with the Castle ESC is that they list it as being 45 amp continuous and 60 amp burst.
Based on my understanding...

I understand (basically) how ESC's work, and when building a plane will tend to fit a bigger one than required.

However, I recently bought a plane from a friend that was...

MiniMag ... Ugly rolls!

I am enjoying flying my MiniMag, but rolling the plane is a fairly ugly affair.
It looses altitude and my rolls are far from axial.

I currently have my aileron differential set to 60% on the...

The plane (Please don't laugh) is a 'FreeBee' which is basically a 400 gram 3 channel high wing slow-flyer. It is a very manouevrable plane and is great fun to chuck around my back garden.

I'll try 3 cells with a smaller prop first... (As I already have the parts).

Failing that, I'll invest in some better 2 cell packs and maybe prop up.

2 degrees right and 2 degrees down seems to work for me.
I don't think it is enormously critical on a 'Trainer' type plane.
