When you say "turkey" are you referring to the Fokker D9B? I heard the "B" stood for Butterball!! Isn't a Butterball turkey pretty close to 1/4 scale? LOL!!! Steve

A clue
Well Boys, the next project will be big , but hard to see! Marty
|
:DNot using clear monocote are you?
|
Did Turkey have Butterballs?
That would be far too hilarious and I would have to build one. |
something early with no real fuse? Old pusher? pre WW1?
|
Another clue
Let's see how good you Guys really are! THINK!! What WWI plane was hard to see? Marty
|
The Rumpler/Etrich Taube was supposed to be "invisible" because of its translucent linen covering.
That was pre-WWI though (1909). |
Fokker DVIII. Or the Fokker Eindecker that was covered in celluloid instead of fabric.

Look what I found. Think lozenge is hard to paint, try painting these wings. Next time I have to repaint my Albatros I may just have to do this one.

Looks like they recycled drapes for the covering. :D:D:D |
