:D:Q:D

degreen60 02-02-2010 01:01 PM

Maybe something a little differant, a Caudron.

WWI Ace 02-02-2010 11:28 PM

I'm guessing Marty will build some type of Austrian fighter. Steve

dbcisco 02-03-2010 01:11 AM

Some Turkish bird? Nah, he's to good at it to make a turkey. :D:D:D

Ryan Flyer 02-03-2010 01:21 AM

Pfaltz?

dbcisco 02-03-2010 01:23 AM

Hmmmm, he said big didn't he? A 1/4 scale Gotha ?

Biplane Murphy 02-03-2010 01:35 AM

I almost bought a 3/4 scale eindecker non-RC ultra-light back in '78.
Could kick myself now.:(

WWI Ace 02-03-2010 11:56 PM

When you say "turkey" are you referring to the Fokker D9B? I heard the "B" stood for Butterball!! Isn't a Butterball turkey pretty close to 1/4 scale? LOL!!! Steve

scalercflyer 02-04-2010 01:00 AM

A clue

Well Boys, the next project will be big , but hard to see! Marty

dbcisco 02-04-2010 01:45 AM

:DNot using clear monocote are you?

dbcisco 02-04-2010 01:52 AM

Did Turkey have Butterballs?
That would be far too hilarious and I would have to build one.

Ryan Flyer 02-04-2010 01:59 AM

something early with no real fuse? Old pusher? pre WW1?

scalercflyer 02-04-2010 03:33 AM

Another clue

Let's see how good you Guys really are! THINK!! What WWI plane was hard to see? Marty

dbcisco 02-04-2010 03:41 AM

The Rumpler/Etrich Taube was supposed to be "invisible" because of its translucent linen covering.
That was pre-WWI though (1909).

degreen60 02-04-2010 04:15 AM

Fokker DVIII. Or the Fokker Eindecker that was covered in celluloid instead of fabric.

Look what I found. Think lozenge is hard to paint, try painting these wings. Next time I have to repaint my Albatros I may just have to do this one.

dbcisco 02-04-2010 04:29 AM

I love that paisley print! :$
Looks like they recycled drapes for the covering. :D:D:D

TVCasualty 02-04-2010 06:32 AM

No I do not have that book. I have lots of WW1 printed paper airplanes. I also have 3views. The plane I am thinking of building next I do not have a printed paper plane of it only a 3 view, the Caudron G4. The G4 has everything I like, twin motors, wood beams hold the tail feathers, only thing I like and it does not have is pusher props.

Biplane Murphy 02-04-2010 10:58 PM

He's doing Wonder Woman's invisible plane!!!!!!!!!!!!!
