Need hitec xmitter crystal ch 48

I was gifted with an airplane with hitec ch 48 crystal. I have a transmitter, but no ch 48.
So if you have an extra transmitter crystal laying around with adoption fee, I can provide a good home.
Could probably provide a home for entire hitec transmitter with ch 48 if necessary...

You should be able to use a generic crystal of Ch 48 ...

There was originally three forms for RC ....

JR until late were offset by about 25hz from others due to the intermediate internal frequancy used and not compatible for other Tx's and was main reason you needed JR crystals only for JR radios.

Then JR adopted the same as others and you could use literally any standard crystal.

Then along came the 'mini' sized crystal and this was also capable of being used in near all radios designed for these mini forms.

I haven't checked in a long while but in the USA to change 72mhz TX crystals you had to send to the mfg or a radio repair service for proper tuning to that crystal. The TX crystals weren't even available from traditional R/C sources. For 75mhz ground frequencies there were no rules. In fact at races you'd better have several different frequencies available! All that may have changed in recent years though since 2.4ghz has taken over.

Instead of trying to change the TX why not just go with a much easier to get RX crystal to match the TX? Cheap and easy. What is your TX channel? I have bags of 72mhz RX crystals and I may have one I can send you. Also is it single or dual conversion? (green or blue tag)

Well, why did I not think of that?!
Of course, get RX crystal......I think my Xmiter is single conversion.
The channel is 54 (72.878)

Bummer. One of the channels I don't have.
