As I wait for the speed controllers from HK, I proceeded to work on the guns.
Ebay gatling guns for $1.99, and the faux interior works pretty nice. C-47 Maiden Video
Here is recent video of a Polk C-47 maiden. Modified with a cargo drop to drop 5 4" paratroopers.
The plane has now been entirely painted with a nice olive green spray paint. With the invasion stripes it looks 100,000,000 times better! It was a bit tail heavy when first flown. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nBJD3Do74lU |

Hi All, Here's some updated pic's with the fuse,wing,tail and landing lights. There are 9 lights in all on the plane. Looks real nice when flying at sunset. Landing lights in the wing can be turned on and off from the transmitter.

I put some 9x7 2 blade props on it and have not yet flown it with the new props. Hopefully this weekend. |

C-47 Final Photos

Here is my C-47 as she is flight line ready. Having flown her 4x now, she's fully trimmed, and a pure pleasure to fly from a paved runway. Taking a lesson this last weekend in Scale Military Power take-off's from Hircflyer, I had no problem after my first take off at FEAR, where the 90 degree cross-wind was right AT OUR BACKS, sent her right over the pits as soon as she rotated due to my over-powering her past V1. As soon as I was at V1 (lifting the tail up), the AOA made it hop up and then weathervane right into the wind. Thank goodness I have a lot of power so I just cranked and banked.

Does anybody have a manual laying around? I have a buddy who lost his and is now stuck on how to install the servos.

I am on the road until sunday of next week but will copy and pdf it to you if no one is able to get the info to you. here is the protek manual from ezone someone posted a few months back though. It appears that the limit on pdf size is 1/3 the size of this 10 page manual....know I knew there was something I hate about "what" flier:censor: Any way . . . . . let me try something else Phil |
