Does any one recognize this saw blade ? ????

I have used many of them over the years and this is the last one I have.:sad:

It is not a X-Acto product, I contacted them, but they were no help.:{

I hope someone can tell me where I can buy more of them.:)

Are you by chance using this to cut slots for hinges??

If so, take a look:

I've got one, it's far superior to any type of hand saw or knife blade. It has two very thin blades that move back and forth 'out of phase' making it easy to cut slots in balsa material, cutting into plywood is a little hard on it though. Mine is some 10 years old, still using original blades in it.

I've got the slot machine Denny, in many cases I can cut hinge slots with this blade quicker than the power slotter.

I use these blades for so many things that if I can't buy more, I will cut a strip off a new razor saw, and then cut it up into pieces.

Sounds good
Every so often the local Ace hardware store has a pile of stuff on sale, I've found several very small saws there.

Yeah the Xacto saw blades have a "handle" on them, runs across the top and off one end, to fit into the knife.

I just cut up left over hacksaw and/or jigsaw blades to fit, take one end to a grinder to let it fit into the knife handle end. Also you can use the grinder to make a plunge cut blade if need be. Just go easy on the grinding so you don't take the temper out of the blade.
