Bought this from a friend in the late 80's. it has never flown, though it was assembled with an OS-20 and a very old Futaba set I actually put in a Gentle Lady...not the engine, but you can have that if you want it. NC.
Anyway, just looking to see if there is any interest. It was gathering dust and the covering split and peeled from age. So, off it came, new covering soon to be finished, new hinges and control horns with Sullivan pushrods. No engine or electrics - add your own. It is a straight airframe, strong and should make a great electric sport trainer ARF. Was marketed by Astroflight but don't remember a model.

Should be a great gift for one of your friends.

There is not much into that airplane, maybe $20.00 on a good day, or if you catch someone with the build/restore bug at the moment.

Ya didn't expect much, just want to find it a good home and hopefully get more than a few flights with it.

It actually turned out quite nice and flies well.

I installed an FMS 4250-580kv, Skylord 60 amp ESC, and turns an 11x10.5 prop very nicely with 3500 mAh 4S pack from Admiral. 7 minute flights with occasional full power leaves about 74%. Takes off at 3/4 throttle and tracks straight as an arrow. No gyro needed, with Spektrum RX.

Nice, should be a great flyer
defiantly 1980's ailerons, very narrow.
I had a similar plane back then, might still have it

Thanks,
it actually turned out to be a real good flyer - while it was uncovered I filled all the glue joints with aliphatic woodwork glue. It also got a better sanding first with 80 grit block, then 150 and 220 blocks. Damp towel to wipe down after vacuum and then applied the Hangar 9 covering. I like my models to be quiet both on the ground and in the air. So low bounce tires, suitable for pavement or grass / dirt runway and polypropylene bushings on the engine mounts.
She does smooth aerobatics and has pretty good vertical. Nothing like a Extra or similar but very predictable and recovers nicely from the inevitable oops.
