Hey thanks touche! I got a feeling they both have the same rudder area, when it comes down to the numbers. I'll report the numbers when I get her in for the review.
Get her up in the air and flying, and I bet she looks like the real deal! Hope you can get yours on the boat soon! |
I might have too Don!! .....YOU WOULD THINK...HK could afford to put a scaled pilot in the plane??? but...no, that might cost em 50 cents!
Hows that Bristol coming along??[popcorn] |

The Bristol Scout rebuild is almost finished so I am working on my next rebuild. Do some research and see if you can guess what model I am rebuilding to fly again now. Here is the finished tail. You will have to look hard, not much info on this plane.

One of the GWS IPS motor systems would probably be perfect for that plane, and actually look somewhat scale in appearance.

I should have to plane finished in a couple more days and will post pictures. Video soon after that if I don't crash it. I am now looking for a pilot. Need one with arms. I may try making paper arms using a paper WWII German soldier file I have and attaching to one of my vacuum formed pilots. Here is a sales pictures of the model. |
Looking forward to your finished plane!!!! I like it!!

The Grade Eindecker III is waiting to take its first flight after rebuild.
|
After sun went down the wind dropped so I took the Grade Eindecker out for test flight right at dusk. Flew great but when I went to land almost too dark to see it so landing was a little ruff but no damage. At least this plane does not flip over in the grass when the wheels touch, it goes up on its nose then back down on the tail wheel.

Well done. It's quite a unique RC flying model.
|
Nice job
Nice job as always D!:) Marty

My goodness. What a special bird.

Great job degreen! Love it! You might have to change your signature now.
And for my last stunt, a handstand. |
Here's a resource with lots of WWI rc scale models that may be worth checking out:

Amazing! It appears to fly beautifully.
However, I am beginning to suspect that your back yard is really a green screen and all your videos are cgi. The sun and temperature are always strangely perfect and the scenery is too good to be true! |
What a really nice slow flyer , great old plane , and yes your patrol area is looking really good also . :)
|
Can't seem to watch the vid.

VERY VERY nice!! I love it!! I have to agree with Hobbyjumper, I think you need to have someone walk accross the grass on the next video maybe holding a newspaper with that days date on it....seems to perfect!!
