Bill, I'd been planning to show up at your fly in this weekend and was really looking forward to it but I'll need to head to Clarksville this weekend and take care of some things down there. Seems some of my neighbors cows got out and have been making theirselves at home in my front yard. Too stupid to find their way home and making a mess of my place. If the weather holds up I think Tall Boy may show. You can't miss him. 5' 18" , 340lbs. Good luck with the weather and the event.

I came across a post made by you on this forum sometime back mentioning you were SSgt. John Blessinger's next door neighbor and friend. I am trying to locate contact information for members of SSgt. John Blessinger's family.

My name is Lara Gill, and I am a Media Specialist at Ocean City Elementary in Ft. Walton Beach, Florida. When SSgt. Blessinger was killed, a memorial rolling floor globe in a wooden stand was donated to our school library in his memory. The inscription reads: "In Memory Of Ssgt. John Blessinger and Those Who Gave Their Lives In Operation Desert Storm May 1991".

Unfortunately, my school is being closed at the end of this school year due to lack of funding, and I would love to be able to contact the family to find out their wishes. Perhaps it would be a meaningful memory to one of his children. I don't want the globe to be thrown out by someone who doesn't understand the significance.

I know that Beverly Blessinger remarried and moved out of the area. If you have any way to contact any remaining members of the family, or could pass along my contact information, I would be very grateful.
