I may have to look into that. I'm currently putting a powerplant together for my .60 P-51 conversion. Here's what I'm going with:

    Batteries (in series):

That Corsair is made by ArtTech. It's a foamie with about a 40" WS. Makes the perfect hangar mate to the EF P-47, and it flies better IMO. Got it from HobbyCity back in January. Hobby Lobby just started selling it RTF for $200, but bananahobby has the Rx ready version for a little less. Seems like a lot for a foamie, but I doubt you could put a P-47 in the air for any less after you buy motor and esc and servos and battery.

That was a sweet video man! I liked the F-18! I was also watching your motor test video on your Corsair. Who makes that Corsair in your video? I just recently bought a Haikong Spit from thunder1, it shipped today. Now I just need a balsa P-47 and Corsair and I'll be happy with the warbird collection. Sweet video man, thanks for sharing.

Hey Mike, how you been? Browsing around WF I see you've been busy building and flying (and crashing - oops!). I'm back from my long trip out to Oshkosh and got some video from the trip up on Vimeo. There's a link on my visitor message page, so check it out when you get a minute.
    Take care,

WOW!! That thing is as beautiful as it is huge! I wish I could friend, but I just spent $300.00 on a Spit from a fellow Watthead. I've been wanting a good balsa Spit since I've been in the hobby and this was just too good of a deal to pass up. Here's the one I bought:

I don't know if your interested but here's a beautiful ARF. The Curtiss P-6E has been one of my most admired planes of all time. It was discontinued by Great Planes in June I believe. Has really great reviews from all who bought it.
Somebody probably needs to direct me to a theraphyst cause I just bought it....had to.
Look it over's convertatble to electric. But I'm thinking a four stroke gas maybe, just for the scale sound. I going to PM Doug also. They were going for over $500.00 from Tower then reduced to $299.00 until the last. I paid $449.00. Check it out.

Hey Dick, I fly mine with a 2200mah and that's the largest battery I have. You could probably get away with a 3000mah though. There seems to be enough room. With my 2200mah batteries, I had to put two rectangle pieces of styrofoam on the sides of the battery bay to keep the battery snug. I would say you could definitely get away with a 3s 3000-3200mah Li-po.

Good to hear from you friend!
