You wanna know how I know? I dunno. I only think I know. I used to think "I know better", but now I know that I never knew as much as I thought I knew. You know what I mean???

You're sorry you asked, aren't you?

There is a huge parking lot with no light poles that is sometimes used for new car storage and sometimes completely empty on Andover Parkway West just south of S. 180th. I actually haven't been by there in a couple of months as last time I tried to fly there it was half full of new cars. Mostly I fly at Honeydew Elementary in Renton Highlands, along with 8 or 10 other regulars. It's a nice big field with even more airspace as you can fly over adjacent wooded area, school building, church and city park across the street. There are usually several of us there by early afternoon on Saturday and Sunday if the winds are light.

Hi! I think I may have talked to you a while back, but thought I'd say hi again. Noticed you mention Southcenter - where in Southcenter do you fly? I've been flying a few times in Tacoma at the OLD Mt. Tahoma High School. It's fun, and a great group of guys, but a bit of a drive from the North end of Fed Way.

    Hey Doug,
The Wedell is coming alon slowly. I'm not that impressed with the kit. Lacks some important funtional details and just generally disappointing. None the less it'll be an interesting addition and I've been in contact with one of their R&D guys. I think if I'd known before what I know now I'd have looked somewhere else. They plan on releasing a 1/4 scale sometime later.
My garage is pretty frosty rith now but will warm up in a few days I hope. It's still too cold to be out there for any time though.

Yu can view some info on the Wedell over at RCGroups "Sport" forum.

Good to hear from you. Take care and stay in touch buddy.

Yeah, we all made it out there about noon. Me, Eric, Ken and his friend, and later Tweed showed up. Was a fantastic day to say the least, average wind for day was 1.5mph with a max of 11.5. Sunny all afternoon and all had good flights with no problems. Well with the exeption of Ken's friend as he slammed into the tail of Ken's Eratix and busted it while he was attempting to land.
Luckily I had backed into my space that day and had all my planes behind it by the curb, safe and sound.............ha, ha!
Sorry I missed ya Doug, maybe next weekend if the rains will drop off by then eh?

    Hi Buddy
A Merlin V1650 has 12 cylinders. I could not get Merlin V12 on RCG so I used V16.
Also it was named after the bird not the wizard! Just thought you would like to know! LOL

    Hey Doug,
Buy It.... if you can maybe talk them into a lower price. I bought one on eBay a couple weeks a ago. I plan on meeting couple guys up near the Dallas area that both have it.
They're getting pretty hard to find I think.
