Sorry Teddar, been battling the ole H1N1, otherwise known as make me feel like I'm going to die swine flu. Have pneumonia as well so I've not been updating for a week or two (closer to two). Bad, Bad stuff...I'd try a park 400 series electrifly or maybe a KMS 35 mm 1000kv with at least a 35 amp esc. 11.1 volt 3 cell battery (1800mah or higher) should do ya. It's going to scoot but it will get you off the ground quickly or easy hand launch and pattern just fine.

Chris 123sc, Anymore thoughts on our chat on the Junior 60 electric conversion, I have had to shelve it for the time being for other more pressing job's. Regards Teddar.

Chris, Back again regarding the Junior 60, I remember seeing one of these at a meeting, it had a brushed 540 motor with a reduction belt drive of 3 to 1 and 8 nicads, flew very well as i remember. incidentally i bought one of these drives at the time, i can not find it now thats why i thought i would get up to date and buy a brushless motor, Just a thought it may help! Teddar.

Ya, glad I asked as that's much bigger than I thought. Let me do some research and I'll get back to you. On the wings, do you know how much dihedral there is on the wings (an estimate will do, no need for specific angles and such). Just wondering if you are putting ailerons on it. No need for them if it has a large enough dihedral since it'll correct itself as it's built originally for free flight, but I've seen some modify the wings for ailerons.
