The 400 brush motor will not work with a 3 cell lipo of 11.1v, it will burn up, you can get a 2 cell lipo and be safe with that, the 1800kv motor i descriped will work great and the 18 amp brushless ESC is a awesome ESC, sell your brush motors and ESC, they will only limit you in your ability to build planes that performe, you can sell them on e bay or wattflyers, your stepping up now to lipos and brushless motors, dont look back :) You will thank me for this advice latter :) LOL, Take care, Chellie
