Hello, Well the pulse had it's one and only flight :( Take off went well and a few laps around the park , then tried to land twice and it floated ALOT. Got too close to the trees and spazed out. BOOM! A real heart breaker.

I am building a DW foamie 48" Yak , (almost done) ,so if I crash I can use glue and tape to go back out and fly.

I was waiting for my DX5e from the factory and bought a DX6i . Of course the DX5e shows up the same day!

    Anyway thanks for checking.
I want another PulseXT 25e and a guy at the LHS will buddy box -- but that is in the future.

Hey, didnt get the servo fixed but been trying to contact the hobby shop. I did get a guillows rubber powered kit completed, but it needs a repair. Good building practice!

Have you started any more builds?

Posted some pics of the Pulse 25e on the beginners thread. A good kit overall. The ailerons are deflected when I turn it on and I dont have enough trim on the DX5e to trim it out. ???????

I bought the 3542-1250 to use in the Pulse XT 25e. I also have the 3542-10 from heads up for the Apprentice. Just could not resist trying the 3542-1250 out in the Apprentice. The big motor ripped the tail coverings right off the plane. The decorative type covers came floating down as I am flying. I am enjoying the plane and having fun trying new things.

    Thanks Bob,
That is good info about the 4s. I will fly the Pulse with 3s and try out some different motors but eventually want to move to the E-flite Power32 and I hear that needs a 4s. I just need a 4s type of charger, same old story $$$
Great flying weather yesterday and today.

Well the nice Fedex man just brought my new yellow E-flite Pulse XT 25e. My first balsa, I am taking it SLOW in the building process. The forums have been very helpful so far. What to lookout for and what to add to weak parts. Oh yeah the watt meter is here so I will start testing those 12x8
