...and how new you still are. This hobby isn't something you or anyone else can learn in a week or two, a month or two or even a year or two. You learn something new just about every time you go flying or just by going to the LHS and talking to some old timer there or even another customer who's there just to look around and visit. There's always something to learn in this hobby and no one person knows all there is to know.

Thanks. I didn't use those CF rods. I look back now and realize how new I really was. Now I have CF rods for the next one. I tried rebuilding the damaged one, but I only learnd that it is way beyond reapair, and only wasted $12 OF FOAM, AND $5 of CA.

I don't know anything about those motors. They were given to me and I never even hooked them up the first time. The info I did have...I deleted a month ago or more.
I'm not sure I understand what your saying about the 1350mAh putting too much pressure on the fuse in flight. To tell you the truth I think someone is blowing smoke up your back side. IIRC those were CF tubes for the fuselage. Breaking one of those takes a whole lot of force to break them and even the hardest flying wouldn't break one unless it was already cracked.
Don't throw the rest of the plane away. Just go to Wal-Mart & buy a CF or fiberglass arrow shaft and you'll have a new fuselage. As for going to a lower mah, I think I'd try using a 2-cell lipo with the same or maybe a little higher mah & go up on the diameter of your prop. Best if you email Jeff and ask him or take the time to read what he posted about the motor using different props using a 2 cell lipo on his website.

I had to say good bye to one of the whirlwinds yesterday due to pressure on the fuse in flight :( I learned that 1500mah lipo 3s you sent was pushing. I will build the second one with one of those other pink hobby city motors you sent me. That brown one was really good and I could hover at 1? throttle. I really have to use 100mah lipos with it. How are those other pink motors compared to the silverish colored one?
