    Hi,
    I saw your post regarding the difference between the senior live wire and the live wire cruiser. The senior Livewire was deBolts first design for R/C. He wanted to market it but was told by his distributors that modelers would never pay the $14.95 price that he would have to charge for it. He scaled the model down to 48" and called it the LiveWire trainer. It was a roaring success. He later marketed the original design as the LiveWire Senior. It too was a success. Later still he cleaned up the design and with minor modifications marketed it as the LiveWire Cruiser.
    I am a real fan of Hal Debolt. I believe that he did more to advance R/C flying than anyone else in the kit industry. Probably more than you wanted to know.
