Bob, I am so glad we were able to get together (albeit a short one) today. You were so hospitable to me and my son Thomas- virtual strangers! My reiterated thanks to you, your wife, sons, and friends for allowing us to invade your space. LOL. I am shocked that I was able to find it as easily as I did. Going crazy with the hi voltage stuff. The guys in Texas are using the same set up with the same batteries same motors same ESC's and no problems????

Good Morning Bob,
Still working way too hard to prepare for this combat event in 6 days, Street, MD. I am spending a fortune trying to get an electric motor to spin an 8X3 prop at 17,500 RPM. Two 220 mah 20C in series with different motors and I am still not there . I have burned up two 40amp ESC while still on the bench.( one reading was 1100 watts ! )
The good news is that I have flown the "MD" plane and it is cool. So I will probably NOT get to 17,500RPM and just fly with what I got.

Bob, what are you going to be doing July 3rd? That would be a good day for us to meet if you want to fly. The PT-19 should be ready to go by then for sure (not that my recent lack of posts would tell you that!).

Ya we got lucky in my area with the storms amazing thing is we have had 3 tornado watches in a week we can go years with out one. Ya I have been flying a lot at the club I joined no more driving all over trying to find a flying spot. Must admit I can be a lone wolf but have been enjoying the company of some nice folks. Most of the time I am by myself at this place it is like there is only 5 of us that use it regularly. Funny thing my planes start all the time their's don't something to be said about electric side.

Hey CC , really sorry I missed you both last week. i have been flying my Ultra stick 25e a lot. Also i have started to look into flying combat . There are some contests near here and it looked like fun whenI saw it.
