I just started in janurary to take an intrest in rc flying. I went to a flying field an saw a group of guys flyiny electric planes.
I got to talking to to one of them.He told me if I really wanted to get into flying join the ama and a flying club.
Buy a flight simulator and practice flying for a least 80 hours on a 3 ch slow stick. I got a 1,000 dollar to spend. I really got hooked into watching one guy
fly with goggles on and a camera on his easy star. So this is all new and fresh to me. It's winter right now and I'm going to practic a lot at home on my flight sim I bought. Later I want to get into flying long rang and with camera and glasses on. Any links you might know of would help me into making up my mind. Once again thanks for all your input now and later.I could use all the new freinds

Hey Tushev,
Where do you fly in NYC? Ever fly in Red Hook park in Brooklyn, by Ikea? There is a big baseball field there and I want to try it out. Just moved into town, looking for good parkflyer spots where I won't get into trouble. I try to be responsible, don't fly over people if I can avoid it, but I don't have the money to join the PARCS club or whatever at Floyd Bennett. Let me know whats good!
